PROFESSIONAL BIO

Sheh Shojaee is the Founder and Chief Impact Officer of A Brave Thought (the definition of her name in Farsi). She’s a leadership coach, a social impact consultant and an engagement expert. She’s also a “magnetic” speaker, a thoughtful moderator and dynamic event host. She’s known for helping audiences of any composition amplify their voice and feel empowered to embrace and impact change.

With a deep understanding of the challenges of developing a resilient workforce, Sheh’s leadership philosophy is fostering a culture of empathy, and optimism while managing organizational shifts and leading transformational change through people. She went from strategic executive to coach to help people build a legacy they’re proud of and become the fearless influential leaders they need to be to impact people, organizations, and greater society.

Her current philanthropic efforts include serving on MPA Society's Board of Directors and the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade’s Diversity Leadership Council. Recognized as a Woman of Distinction by HR Director Canada in 2023 and the recipient of Immigrant Employment Council of BC’s Impact Award in 2025, Sheh has a deep desire to challenge the status quo and create a more equitable future for all.

Sheh has over 20 years of Leadership, HR & Operations experience in award-winning for profit and not-for-profit organizations, 15 of those in senior leadership roles, coaching at all levels of the organization. She earned a BA in Sociology from UBC, an HRM Certificate from SFU, and Micro-credentials in DEI, ESG and Instructional Design & Facilitation.
